As always, we do a lot of wireless upgrades in our clients’ homes. Verizon, Xfinity and Optimum provide cables modems/routers that don’t provide full wireless coverage across a home.
There is a new class of wireless routers and extenders based on “mesh” technology which means that the routers and extenders can be placed around your home and “talk” to each other to ensure coverage. There are a number of mesh products out there, but, we’ve standardized on a product from Linksys called Velop. We find the Velop system really powerful and easily expandable to cover even the largest homes.
