Although this is personal preference, the most widely accepted formula states that your viewing distance should be approximately 2.5 times the diagonal measurement of your TV screen. Therefore, you should be sitting 10 to 15 feet back (120-190″) when watching a 60″ TV.

We had Future Home Technologies do a large conference room for us. It was a completed application using monitors, projectors and a sound system. They bid against another firm and were significantly cheaper. More importantly, they did the work on time and on budget. Because they are local, they also gave us a level of support we did not have before. I know the name says Home Technologies, but these guys are experts in commercial applications as well.
The guys at Future Home evaluate your home for what new technologies are available. They then make recommendations for specific media equipment. The guys provide many options and will take care of purchasing and installation at reasonable prices. Future Home is easy to work with. They did a great job for our home and for one of my clients as well.

Mitch was great, as he was last time. If I ever get my man room (biggest hurdle is convincing the wife), you guys are so in!
The Future Home team did a great job, as usual. Thank you for your prompt response. I am so pleased that I became aware of your company. Kind regards.
Your guys have been great! Always on time. Happy to help with anything and a real pleasure to have around the house. I will certainly recommend Future Home without hesitation. Thanks!
